A rainbow bridge is originally a metaphor for a peaceful afterlife where deceased pets go to wait for their human companions. Animal shelters have taken this and made their own by making a wonderful memorial for animals that have passed. I was lucky enough to work with five acres animal shelter to make our own rainbow bridge. It was so special and fun to build and I hope to make more for other shelters in my community to help everyone remeber that your pet might only be in yourlife for a short .
